Individuals accused of a sex crime such as date rape, rape or sexual assault, should contact a defense attorney as soon as possible. An experienced defense attorney knows how to develop and present the facts that will be essential to establishing a defense. The attorney can go to work immediately to determine the extent of a person’s exposure to punishment and concentrate on reducing or eliminating the most serious charges through early engagement with the prosecution.
